For Young People and Students

We have groups for young people between the ages of 11 and 18 that run during term time, and groups for 18-22 year olds which run throughout the year.

On Saturday 24th November we are hosting a movie night for anyone age 11-14. Let Ruth know what film you would like to watch!! Details below


On Saturday 1st December, Taunton Youth For Christ is hiring a coach to take a group to Wells Cathedral for the Movement Worship Night. More details here. Please speak to Ruth if you would like to go! consent form here!



Watchers Autumn Programme

Watchers is a group for 11-14 year olds (years 7-9) which meets on a Sunday morning in the Trull Church Community Centre. We begin our time as part of the 9.30am church service and then go to our group for games, bible study and prayer.

Drop Zone is an after school club that runs every Tuesday afternoon in term time from 4-5pm in the Trull Church Community Centre.

It is for all those in year 7 and above and is a relaxed space for young people to enjoy table tennis, games, craft, food, and a movie moment that helps us think about an aspect of the Christian faith.

The Castle School

Our youth worker, Ruth Slade, works with Anthony Stevens from Taunton Youth For Christ as a chaplain in Castle School. You can find them both around school during Wednesday lunchtimes.

On Tuesday lunchtimes we run Christian Union in Castle School with Taunton Youth For Christ.

On Wednesdays we offer breakfast to those in year 7 who are settling in to secondary school in QDOS dance studio from 8:15am.

Pulse is a church youth group for 14-18 year olds (years 10-13) who meet every Friday evening in term time from 7.45-9.30pm in the Trull Church Community Centre for food, games, bible study, prayer and worship.

Digging Deeper

This year Digging Deeper will look a little different… Watch this space!! (Talk to Ruth if you are interested in either a boys, or girls midweek bible study.


When our students are home most of them attend the 5.30pm service in the Trull Church Community Centre.

We also have a bible study group and regular socials for students that meet bi-weekly on a Wednesday evening in term time and each week during student holidays.
