Greetings from Uganda!

Last Sunday was a day of rejoicing as we celebrated 14 baptisms! Praise God that He is working in the lives of people in our church and community, drawing people to himself. Here are a few pictures…

The baptisms took place in the swimming pool of a local school, before the church service. Please pray for the 14 who got baptised, that they would continue to walk with the Lord and be used in his service.

We held a joint service (we normally have two morning services, one in the local language, and one in English) which was translated. It was wonderful for the whole church community to be together… even though we struggled to fit everyone in the tent!

During the service those who had been baptised were presented with a baptism certificate. In this picture Bosco is giving a baptism certificate to his older sister, Harriet. Bosco has now baptised four of his siblings! Praise the Lord that he is working in the family.....

After the service we had a meal together (around 350 of us!). Some people had been preparing food throughout the night in our garden! Here are some of the children we have at church, eating their dinner. The vast majority of these children attend church without a parent...

Thank you for praying for our family, and for our church. We have much to be thankful for!
